Thank you for visiting the Camarillo Council of PTAs website.

As President of the Council, it is my desire to provide our Unit Leaders and Parents with as much information as possible to enable them to partner with our children and give them an array of tools and enhancements to enrich their educational experience. As a parent of 5 children (ranging from Kindergarten – 11th grade), I know all too well how important a support system and accessible information is for the diverse needs of our children. They say it takes a village to raise a child and that statement is so true!

The PTA family of committed, generous, giving people truly makes a difference for the children of this community day in and day out. If it was not for our PTA our children may not have some of the basic things we all had when we went to school. Most parents don’t even realize how much the PTA does for schools. Here is just an example of some of the things which your local PTA’s are doing on campuses around Camarillo:

  • Physical Education
  • Art Programs
  • Music Programs
  • Field Trips
  • STEM
  • Book Fairs
  • Enrichment Classes
  • Supplies for Teachers and Students
  • Community Service Programs
  • Spirit Wear
  • Wellness Programs
  • Advocacy

Many of our campuses have some or all of these programs…it all depends on the support of the parents of that school. You cannot parent from the sidelines…you have to be involved in one way or another.

Partnering with your student and their school is the key! Membership in PTA and your support of the programs on campus are critical. There is so much the PTA brings to a school and its children and it cannot be done without everyone giving something. It can be your time, your talents or your funding…anything you can give is needed!

The Camarillo Council of PTA’s provides support to all of its ten school sites here in Camarillo.

Through monthly meetings, training opportunities, partnerships with the school districts (PVSD, OUHSD), City of Camarillo and Camarillo Chamber of Commerce, we strive to be a partner at the school and in our community. Through this partnership we feel our children will be better served and will have every opportunity available to them to succeed and flourish as students and as human beings.

Thank you for supporting our children… our future.
